My Life as of Late
For the last month or so, I have been working at home with my dad and I love it. Dad's hours are different than most; more relaxed, which means I can sleep in, have breakfast, and still watch the BNN (business news network; one of dad's favourite channels) before we actually get to work outside. I have cleaned out the barns, set them up, brought in chickens, fixed some holes in the floor, put in a new starter feed line, cut the grass (my favourite), gardened, and opened the pool with my dad.
I helped David finish putting up a playground for the girls. It took him two full Saturdays with help from dad and myself. But Mackenzie loved the swing so its worth it. Plus I got an awesome t-shirt tan :)
I'm playing soccer again. Its been a few years since I've played a full summer of soccer. Its a rec league, but its good to be back. The girls on my team are great; they make me laugh. As well, we won our first game.
After 5 long years, I walked across the stage and received my diploma from Redeemer. I offically have my BA in Business Honours; General Management, Co-op. Now I just need to do something with it!
And...in 11 days I'm off to South Africa for two weeks with Athletes in Action. I'm pretty excited for it, although I still have a lot to do before I leave!

And you spent a night talking to your friend on the phone. Until she ditched you for the neighbourhood gossip :)
