Last Day
So today was my last offical day of being an intern with Athletes in Action Church Camps. I have been working on putting together 32 coaches binders, so the majority of my morning was spent by the photocopier, printing stuff off on various colours. I was able to finish that just before lunch. Clarke and D told myself and Joel, another intern, out for lunch at the Olive Garden, just to say thanks. It was nice. Other than that, the day was uneventful. After lunch, I did various little jobs until the day was over.
I now have 5 days left in BC - and then its HOME!! I can't wait to go home, to see the family - Mackenzie - and all my friends there. It's sad saying goodbye to my home here in BC, it seems like these past two months have just flown by without me even realizing it. Crazy how fast time can go. Tomorrow we start head coaches training, so I'll still be in the office, but instead of working, trying to get everything done in time, I'll be learning about leadership and team development. I'm excited to see all the head coaches and spend some time getting to know them. All the head coaches are staying in a house within walking distance to the office. Training ends on Sunday and then Monday I'm off on a jet plane that will take me HOME!! (not that I'm excited or anything:))
