Rain
A six year old was driving with her dad while it was raining. This is what she thought about the rain:
"Dad, the rain," she began, "is like sin, and the windshield wipers are like God wiping our sins away."
"Do you notice how the rain keeps on coming? What does that tell you?" asked her dad.
Aspen didn't hesitate one moment with her answer: "We keep on sinning, and God just keeps on forgiving us."
Amazing how young kids can grasp God's meaning of forgiveness, while it takes most adults years trying to figure it out!
Some people hate the rain, while others like it. I'm one of those people that likes the rain. Here are some other reasons why I love the rain:
-I get a couple of hours off work
-I don't have to water the flowers
-Rainbows
-Swimming in the rain is the best
-Jumping in puddles after the rain
-Everything gets washed clean, and you can start new again.
-Listening to the rain before you go to sleep
How beautiful is the rain!
After the dust and the heat,
In the broad and fiery street,
In the narrow lane,
How beautiful is the rain!

first of all, when it said "six year" i thought it meant like "sixth year" and thought wow, i hope they arent at redeemer or that will cost more money then they will make in a lifetime!! second... im confused, if rain is like sin and you like the rain..... hmm..... liz.... go talk to you pastor!
liz that is an amazing story... girl i didn't know you had a blog.... way to go i'm sooo excited bout this....
so yea that is funny how kids get stuff that adults don't eh? i guess that's why were told to have a child like faith.....
But yea i'm glad ur doing well, and i like the rain too, but that doesn't mean i like to sin josh... it's just a metaphhor... lol

Liz, I wish I would have been at your party this week, and I even had a way to get there lined up in the end. But, my mom picked me up, and I definatly needed the sleep and my cousin was here. I guess I owe you one, remind my in september. I hope you had a great weekend, you rock!
